Electronics in Europe

Don’t bother to bring a converter to change the voltage from 110 to 220 volts.  All hotels have hair dryers. What you do need are the plug adapters. You can buy these at Target, etc. You need plug adapters to plug in your chargers for cell phones and PED’s. Cell phones are made to take any voltage.

If you need to use a curling iron or flat iron, buy a European one that already has the 220-volt cord. You can purchase these in the country you are traveling to like France. There are local stores to find these, such as the Monoprix in France. You could also order these items before you leave, Baby Bliss makes great 220 volt European products!

Buckle up and see the world

Cosmetics

Go to department stores before you travel and get sample items for facial cleansers, shampoos, etc. Kiehl’s samples are amazing and take up little room in a suitcase as well as they won’t leak! Go to department stores and get samples of your favorite perfume! You can even get tiny sample bottles of perfume like Tom Ford from stores like Saks Fifth Avenue.

Bring quart size and gallon size zip lock bags that you can put cosmetics into for your suitcases.  They’ll come in handy, trust me!
